Description
Half roller brush consists of two semicircle bodies and filaments in tuft. Standard cylindrical roller brush is made by a integrated round pipe. But this one features pipe in 2 halves, which material can be plastic(nylon/PP) or steel(we usually choose aluminum for light weight). 
The mounting holes are necessary for half brush as per below photo. These holes are for screws to connect two split cores. You can also see several "beams" inside of the plastic core to give plastic strength and no breakage during high rotating speed.

Application
Split core half cylindrical roller brush has the same functions as a standard tufted roller brush, such as cleaning, washing, dusting, scratching and polishing. But it can do more. When the shaft is not easy to be dismantled, you can use half brush by installing two half roller brushes on shaft and connecting them by screws. It save a lot of time and easy for replacement next time.
